Heating and Cooling

Greater Comfort, Less Cost.
If you're building a new home, or considering a new heating and cooling system, consider this: An electric heat pump makes your home more comfortable year round, and can save you hundreds of dollars in energy costs. It's the future of climate control. And it's available now, if you're ready to start saving.

Heat Pumps are also an economic way to heat your swimming pool or spa in the summertime.

How does it work?
With an electric heat pump, the same unit cools in the summer and warms in the winter. In warmer months, it removes the heat from your house and transfers it outside. In cooler months, it isolates air warmed by the sun outside and moves it in.

An electric heat pump doesn't actually generate heat, like traditional systems, it simply transfers it from place to place. So it's cleaner and quieter than traditional systems. And it's so energy-efficient you're heating and cooling bills will be lower than you ever dreamed.

How can I learn more?
Deciding if a heat pump is right for your home and calculating just how much it can save takes a professional. UI would be happy to supply a list of contractors who can help you every step of the way.

In addition, rebates are available for qualifying purchases of premium efficient heat pumps.
