The Orange SmartLiving Center location will be closing on June 27.

to provide resource information and schedule future site tours.

 

The new SmartLiving Center will feature new and improved exhibits and displays focused on educating and empowering a broad based audience, including both adults and children to make smart energy choices.

  • Why is the Orange location closing?
    The new location is more centrally located and is a larger facility that can better accommodate the needs of Connecticut’s consumers and businesses.
  • When is the Orange location closing?
    The Orange location will close on June 27. During the transition to the new location, staff will be available by phone to provide resource information and schedule future site tours.
  • Will SmartLiving Center staff continue to be available?
    Yes, during the interim, the SmartLiving Center staff will continue to do outreach events with local camps and schools. If you are interested in bringing the SmartLiving Center to your camp or school, you can contact us for more information at 203-799-0460.
  • Where is the new location?
    The new location will be located at 120a Universal Drive in North Haven, CT near Panera Bread in the Target shopping center.
  • How will the new center differ from the Orange location?
    The new Center will feature new and improved exhibits and displays focused on educating and empowering a broad based audience, including both adults and children to make smart energy choices. The facility will also house a large classroom ideal for workshops, meetings, and birthday parties.
  • Where can I get more information?
    Construction of the new center is set to begin shortly, and we will be providing information and updates on EnergizeCT.com and at facebook.com/energizect.
