Operation Fuel

Warm Hearts, Warm Homes.

Through Operation Fuel, you can bring emergency assistance to low-income working people, the elderly or the ill who have difficulty paying their energy bills. This non-profit program is funded by state-wide contributions from customers like you.

UI customers can support Operation Fuel by adding $1 their monthly bill payment and UI will match 50% of this tax-deductible contribution.  To contribute more than $1, please call our Customer Care Center at 800 7 CALL UI (800.722.5584).  Our representatives will set up a recurring payment for any amount you designate.  This recurring donation will appear on your monthly statement.  Remember, your monthly contribution is tax-deductible and UI will match 50% of this tax-deductible contribution up to a total annual company donation of $25,000.
