The Multi-Unit Dwelling (MUD) EV Charging Program rewards renters for smart charging
Your daily EV charging routine can do more than power your car. It can help power a cleaner future and reward you month after month.
With the MUD EV Charging Program, UI customers living in multi-unit buildings can earn rewards for charging during off-peak hours — 9 p.m. –3 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends and holidays. And you can start earning immediately.
Earn $10 monthly when you charge off-peak at least 80% of the time and a minimum of twice in a month.
Currently, specific EVs are eligible to participate in the program. Check the Qualified EV List to see if your vehicle qualifies. If you don’t see it on the list, check back again soon. UI continues to work with our technology partners to expand support for more EVs and EV chargers common at MUDs in Connecticut.
