Our Smart Savers Rewards Program is available to residential and small business customers who install, or have installed, an eligible smart thermostat to control their central air conditioning equipment. The program offers incentives to customers when they reduce electricity use during times of peak summer electricity demand, thereby helping to alleviate the strain on Connecticut’s power supply.  

Already have an eligible Smart Thermostat?

You’ll receive a $35 e-gift card when you enroll in the program. In addition, you’ll receive a $25 e-gift card at the end of the season when you participate in temperature adjustments 

Don’t have a Smart Thermostat?

Purchase a smart thermostat through our online marketplace and receive a rebate of up to $85 during your purchase, and get automatically enrolled in the program and receive an additional $35 rebate. All participants receive a $25 e-gift card at the end of the season when they participate in temperature adjustments. 

Smart Savers Rewards: Central Air Conditioning 

Participants allow us to make brief limited temperature adjustments between June 1st and September 30th on days when summer electricity demand is at its highest (excluding holidays). Participation is voluntary and customers can opt out of temperature adjustments at any point by adjusting their thermostat.
