How Does Your Home Check Out?

 You have double paned windows.
 There is no air coming in around your exterior doors or windows.
 There is no air coming in around wall outlets and switch plates.
 Your attic is insulated.
 Your water heater is less than 10 years old.
  Your central air system is less than 10 years old.
  Your heating system is less than 15 years old.
  The holes around your bathroom and kitchen sink pipes are sealed.
  The majority of light bulbs in your home are LEDs.
  You feel comfortable in your home year round.

If your total is 8 or below you should have a Home Energy Solutions service.

 

What Your Score Means

0–2  Through the Home Energy Solutions program, we will help you get started and find ways to make needed changes affordable.

3–5   Looks like you may need some advice on lowering your energy bills and improving the comfort of your home.

6–8   Many homes need a little extra help to be more energy efficient.

9–10   You’re doing really well!

 

Energy assessments through Home Energy Solutions are performed by professional home energy auditors.
