Sign-up Now for an In-home Weatherization Service to Help Lower Your Energy Bills

Get your home’s energy performance assessed by energy professionals and receive about $1,000 in on-the-spot energy fixes - like sealing air leaks, water-efficient aerators and showerheads, and more.

The fee* for all of this is just $50 for all eligible customers. (If your annual income is below the state’s 60 percent income median the fee may be waived. See if you qualify.)

Find out about rebates and financing available for insulation, high-efficiency heating/cooling, WI-FI thermostats, water heating, windows, and appliances.

After the application is complete, you will be notified via telephone or email to schedule your Home Energy Solutions assessment. An authorized adult must be present during the assessment and provide access to the premises.

Home Energy Solutions - Income Eligible Program Application Process

If your family’s combined gross annual income is below the state’s 60 percent income median, you may qualify for no-cost energy-saving services through the Home Energy Solutions - Income Eligible (HES-IE) program. A technician certified by the Building Performance Institute will come to your home and make energy-saving improvements to reduce drafts and help you save on your lighting and hot water bills.

If your home qualifies for additional services such as insulation or a more energy-efficient refrigerator, they will arrange for contractors to come back to your home and do the work. Depending on your circumstances, you may receive these services at no cost.

To enroll in the HES-IE program, please either:

  • call 877.WISE-USE (877.947.3873) to have an application mailed to you, or
  • download the application form.

In addition to your signed HES-IE application, you will need to supply proof of income documentation; and, if you rent, a Property Owner Agreement signed by your landlord giving us permission to perform the energy-saving services.
