Virtual Commissioning (VCx)

The Virtual Commissioning (VCxTM) Program offered through a vendor partner is a free service that provides custom recommendations on how to reduce energy use in your building, typically reducing energy usage by 11 to 17%.

Participating is fast and easy with no on-site visits, eligible equipment, or enrollment paperwork.

What to Expect

Step 1 – With your approval our expert Energy Advisor remotely analyzes data drawn from your smart meter.

Step 2 – Our Energy Advisor presents customized low and no-cost recommended adjustments for your facility’s operating systems.

Step 3 – You implement energy savings recommendations.

Step 4 – Our Energy Advisor confirms, measures, verifies the energy savings from your changes

Virtual Commissioning will help you identify energy-saving opportunities such as:

  1. Optimizing equipment schedules to match actual occupancy
  2. Managing equipment start-up and shut-down schedules
  3. Identifying equipment setbacks to address unnecessary usage
